Sally has undertaken many commissions from clients wishing to perpetuate the image of a loved dog, horse or other animal. Pictured here is the bronze sculpture of a cocker spaniel which was commissioned as a gift for his wife's birthday. On this occasion, Sally had the advantage of spending time with the subject which is clearly a better option than relying entirely on photographs, as she is insistent that her sculptures should reflect more than a superficial likeness but should also portray the character of the subject. However, she has executed appreciated commissions using only a sufficient series of photographs.
Sally has also accepted commissions to illustrate a theme or a particular figure needed to mark an event or distinguish a special occasion or presentation.
Prices are based on the complexity and size of the work, the medium used and therefore the time taken and cost of production.
